Simple and Organic 2 Year Old Girl Portrait Photos; Indoor

Being a photographer, I feel the strongest obligation to capture your children as they are because it blows my mind how fast they change and grow!! That is why I love doing milestone portrait sessions in my studio. This sweet newly turned 2 year old girl clapped her hands and danced around with a white unicorn stuffed animal and I was able to capture everything that was truly her. It took her a second to warm up (which is totally expected!!), but once those smiles started coming, they wouldn’t stop!

I highly encourage parents to do milestone sessions so they can have high-quality documentation of those sweet personalities in these younger years. My 2 year old son seems to grow and change by the day and capturing his silliness is one of my favorite things to do.

And the best part about these sessions is that they usually only take about 20 minutes! I never want to push them too far because once we start forcing things, that is when the power struggle starts — especially when they are in the 2-3 year range. Trust me, I deal with that evvvvvery day hah.

This cute little romper is apart of my client wardrobe! I snagged it from Kate Quinn which is an adorable organic baby and toddler online clothing boutique that I frequently shop from! The colors are just simply the best for my simple and natural studio photography.

Here are some of my favorites from this session. Enjoy!
